What Happen to Hick and Noot in Alien 3? How did they die?
In the end of “Aliens”: After escaping from the alien planet, Bishop, now only an upper torso, congratulates Ribley: “Not bad for a human” as Ripley and Newt hug. “Aliens” ends as Ripley prepares the injured and sedated Hicks, Newt, and what’s left of Bishop for hypersleep for the journey back to Earth.
Then, in Alien 3, the scene opens with the ship carrying Ripley and what was left of her crew crashing onto a remote and inhabited ore refinery/correctional facility. Hicks and Newt both died in their cryotubes. Hicks was killed instantly after being “impaled by the safety support” above his tube. The deadly blow to the tube was briefly shown in a quick scene when Clemens took Ripley back to the E.E.V. Newt, technically, drowned when her cryotube cracked open–prior scene-flashes show that the alien species on board had cracked her cryotube BEFORE the crash landing of the E.E.V. I summarize that either the cryogenic gases must have turned to liquid inside her cryotube or water leaked in her tube when it crashed into the water on Fiorina “Fury” 161. Clemens, the doctor doing the child’s autopsy, says, “Lungs, flooded with fluid. Ergo, she drowned”. The blood was still bright red and flowed easily, indicating that she had not been dead for long.

In their own time, the Starfleet heroes encounter an alien probe emitting a mysterious message–a message delivered … |

Star Trek III – The Search for Spock (Two-Disc Special Collector’s Edition) $12.98 You didn’t think Mr. Spock was really dead, did you? When Spock’s casket landed on the surface of the Genesis planet at the end of Star Trek II, we had already been told that Genesis had the power to bring “life from lifelessness.” So it’s no surprise that this energetic but somewhat hokey sequel gives Spock a new lease on life, beginning with his rebirth and rapid growth as the Genesis planet lit… |
