Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, or Alien: Resurrection?
The first three are all good, but Aliens is the best. Great story, perfect cast, and Ripley really shines.

Well as far as what scene that's a bit to precise for me to remember. I will however refer you to his imdb biography which lists all his credits, including anything he created or acted in . buffy is listed in his acting credits.
The role was probably so insignificant nobody would of realized it was him. Especially during season 1, did anyone really know what he even looked like at that point?
Anyhow the episode he appeared in was season 1 episode 8. It says he does indeed play a newscaster (which you've stated)
